How does my sunglasses warranty work?
Your Chilli Beans sunglasses have a 180-day (six-month) warranty, covering any original faults. If your sunglasses show any signs of such faults, all you have to do is take your sunglasses to the store, with the receipt and the warranty, and exchange it for any product of the same value.
My sunglasses have original faults, but the warranty has expired. What should I do?
Because we work with a high rotativity of products, with weekly new releases, our availability of parts for substitution was scarce and very limited. Due to that fact, we have altered our products’ warranty from three to six months, and if the product shows any original fault within these six months, you can exchange it directly in any Chilli Beans selling point. Currently, with our new warranty, we do not offer substitution of parts, but we would love to know what happened with your sunglasses to provide you with a better service and, perhaps, try to find the part you desire in our stocks.
My sunglasses have been accidently damaged. What should I do?
Your sunglasses warranty period is 180 days, and covers only original faults. Let us know of your nearest selling point, so we can evaluate your product.
I’ve received Chilli Beans sunglasses as a gift, but they didn’t really fit. Can I exchange them?
Of course you can! You have 15 days, from the purchase date, to exchange your product. You just have to go to any Chilli Beans store, with your sunglasses and the receipt. You can choose any product of the same value. Remember: products which have been accidently damaged cannot be exchanged.
I’ve tried to exchange my product, but the model I wanted wasn’t available. How can I get one?
Due to the high rotativity of products in our stores, and the weekly releases and re-releases, all Chilli Beans models are produced in small quantities and their availability depends on the stocks at each store. You can get in touch with the nearest Chilli Beans selling point, and ask the staff to let you know when your favourite model is available again.
Can I exchange my sunglasses at any Chilli Beans store?
Yes, you can! You just have to take your sunglasses and the warranty, and exchange them for a product of the same value. We will not make the exchange if the product is damaged or the 15-day adaptation period has expired.
Can I exchange my originally faulty sunglasses at any Chilli Beans store?
Yes, your product can be exchanged at any store.
Can I clean my sunglasses’ lenses with water and soap?
Yes, you can. To safely clean your Chilli Beans sunglasses, you can use water and neutral soap. Don’t use perfumed soap, alcohol or other cleaning products. Use only water and neutral soap, wait for a few minutes, and dry them carefully with a soft cloth.
Can I damage my eyes if I wear sunglasses for a long period of time?
If you wear your Chilli Beans sunglasses for a long time, in the sun or a highly lit environment, they won’t do your eyes any harm. On the contrary, they will protect your eyes against the effects of UV rays. Avoid wearing your sunglasses in dark environments or whenever the light is tolerable, so as not to damage your sight.
Is there a right kind of sunglasses for every outfit I wear?

Do all Chilli Beans sunglasses protect my eyes against UV rays?
All Chilli Beans sunglasses have lenses with total protection against UV rays. Their quality is tested by IBC – Brazilian Certification Institute, an organism accredited by Inmetro – and you can check the quality of our lenses and the protection they offer at any Chilli Beans store. You only have to ask the salesperson to do the test with the Photometer (a device which measures the level of UV protection and confirms the quality of the lenses).
How do I know my sunglasses reference code?
All reference codes start with the letters OC and you can find them on the internal part of the right arm.

Vista Line
How does my Vista Line warranty work?
Your Vista Line sunglasses have a 15-day adaptation period and a 180-day (six months) warranty, for original faults, including the frames only. If the frames present any original faults, all you have to do is take your glasses to any Chilli Beans store which sells the Vista Line, with the receipt and the warranty, and exchange them for any product of the same value.
How does the adaptation period work?
You have 15 days to check with your preferred optician if the frames are adequate for the lenses. The exchange will only be made if the lenses haven’t been put into the frames yet. You also have to present the receipt and the warranty.
What does improper/inadequate use means?
Improper use happens when the product is used in a way which doesn’t comply with the instructions manual. In the specific case of Vista Line, inadequate use means not keeping the glasses in the case, cleaning them with inadequate products, getting them fixed at stores not acknowledged by the Chilli Beans technical assistance department, and exposing them to high temperatures, high pressure and strong impacts.
Do you produce lenses, too?
Chilli Beans produces only the frames. The lenses must be made by your favourite optician.
Are the lenses sold with the Vista line UV-protected?
The lenses we sell with all our Vista Line products are merely demonstrative, therefore they do not have UV protection and their daily used is not recommended.
What should I do if the optician damages the frames when putting the lenses into them?
You should go back to the store where you purchased your frames and tell the salesperson/manager what happened. They will get in touch with the technical assistance department, so they can take the necessary measures.
My Vista Line frames have broken due to an original fault. Am I going to lose my lenses?
You should take your product to the Chilli Beans store, together with the warranty. We will do our best to exchange it for the same model, so you will not lose your lenses. If the same model isn’t available in our stocks, we will get in touch with the technical assistance department so they can take the necessary measures.
What is the quality of the Vista Line frames?
All Vista Line frames are produced with materials of high optical quality, meaning that the entire line follows the quality standards for the production of prescription lenses.
What is the difference between putting prescription lenses into Chilli Beans sunglasses and into Vista Line frames?
The Vista Line has been specifically created for the frequent use of prescription lenses. The Sunglasses Line is appropriate for UV-protected lenses.
Have the Vista Line frames been evaluated by any normative institute?
Chilli Beans follows the standards established by ABNT (Brazilian Association of Technical Norms), NBR 15092. In addition, Chilli Beans has an entire department responsible for the quality control, ensuring the quality and compliance of all products, using adequate equipment and procedures so the products will arrive to the selling points in perfect conditions.
I need to wear high-degree lenses. Can I fit the lenses in any kind of frames?
Yes, all our frames are designed to fit any type of lenses. This is one of the reasons why Chilli Beans offers you a 15-day adaptation period, so you can check with your optician if our frames meet all your needs.
Which type of frames is better for myopia, hypermetropia, astigmatism and multifocal lenses?

Can Chilli Beans stores put my new lenses into the frames?
No. The opticians are the best professionals to perform this procedure. Chilli Beans stores only make adjustments to the frames, such as replacing screws.
What if the optician refuses to put prescription lenses into my Chilli Beans frames?
We would recommend that you tried another professional, but we will help you with that problem.

How does my watch warranty work?
Your Chilli Beans watch has a warranty of 360 days (a year). If there is any original fault, the product is sent back to the factory to be fixed, through the store. You only have to bring us the watch and the warranty.
My watch warranty is still valid and I’ve accidently damaged it. What should I do?
If your watch has been accidently damaged, take it to the nearest store and tell us what has happened. Don’t forget your warranty. The store manager will get in touch with our maintenance department, and if the parts are available, he or she will authorize the service after you make the payment.
How long will it take to get my watch fixed?

All our watches come with a product guide. They will tell you the ATM level of your product. Check the table to see how water-resistant your watch is. We’d like to remind you that depending on the material of the strap, it might be damaged.
